Read...Set...Read!!!

Today is the day that our book club begins! I am so excited! 

My goal for this book club is to read enjoyable books, make long lasting friendships, eat good food, while sharing wine and spirits with friends.  

I know that many of the members don't know each other and that is what I think is so great! I love meeting new people and I hope that you all get to know each other whether it be through the computer or in person and that you bring a friend or two into the club as well.  The more the merrier.

Our first book is "The Hour I First Believed" by Wally Lamb.  The group voted and this was the number one choice with "Angry Housewives Eating BonBons" as our second choice.  Since the vote was so close I feel that we should read "Angry Housewives Eating BonBons" as our 2nd book that we will start the end of September.

To be clear everyone has until September 24th to finish the book.  We will be meeting at my house on the 24th at 7PM to discuss the book, our thoughts, gossip and of course to eat good food and drink good drinks!

I hope that everyone will join this blog: to write messages, share stories, and get to know each other a little better. Please don't feel like you are being judged for what you write.  No one should be judging the English, or grammar of someone else, this is free writing! :)
